New U.S. business will combine automated diagnostic kit manufacturing, fulfillment, logistics and digital pathway technology to help laboratories and healthcare organizations scale testing programs.

RDi USA will make its official industry debut at ADLM 2026 in Anaheim, California, at Booth 4454.

RDi, an end-to-end diagnostics and healthcare infrastructure company, today announced the launch of RDi USA Inc., marking a major expansion of its automated diagnostic kitting, fulfillment and connected self-sampling capabilities into the United States.

The new business is being officially introduced at the ADLM 2026 Annual Scientific Meeting & Clinical Lab Expo in Anaheim, where the RDi USA team will exhibit at Booth 4454 from July 28-30.

RDi USA has been created to help laboratories, diagnostic manufacturers, healthcare providers, screening organizations, retailers, employers and research partners overcome one of the largest barriers to scaling diagnostic testing: the fragmented infrastructure surrounding the test itself.

The company brings together the physical, digital and logistical elements of a diagnostic pathway, from kit design, component sourcing and automated assembly through patient fulfillment, sample-return logistics, laboratory integration, digital engagement, tracking and results delivery.

RDi USA arrives with scale already proven: more than 130 million self-collection kits delivered, 163 registered self-sample collection kit designs and over one billion patient data records processed across the RDi Group. Its automated lines produce hundreds of thousands of kits a day, assembled and inspected by machine rather than by hand, with camera-led validation and AI-driven inspection checking every unit. Removing manual assembly addresses one of the most common sources of error in a diagnostic kit and allows screening programs to grow without quality drifting as volume climbs.

RDi is also establishing U.S.-based manufacturing and fulfillment capacity, giving American customers access to domestic operations supported by the automation, quality systems and large-scale program experience developed by the wider RDi Group over more than two decades.

An excellent diagnostic test can only deliver its full value when everything around it works. The kit must be intuitive, the patient must understand what to do, the sample must move safely and efficiently, the laboratory must receive the right information, and every organization involved must be able to see what is happening across the pathway.

DC David CahillGroup Chief Executive Officer, RDi

David Cahill, Group Chief Executive Officer of RDi, added: “Too many diagnostic programs are still held back by disconnected suppliers, manual processes and limited visibility. RDi USA has been created to remove that friction.

“We are not simply bringing another kitting supplier into the market. We are bringing an operating model that connects automated manufacturing, fulfillment, logistics, digital technology and laboratory integration into one dependable pathway.

“Launching RDi USA at ADLM is particularly significant because this is where the people shaping the future of diagnostics and laboratory medicine come together. We believe the next phase of testing will increasingly happen beyond traditional clinical settings, in people’s homes, workplaces, pharmacies and communities. Our role is to give laboratories and healthcare partners the infrastructure they need to make that transition safely, efficiently and at American scale.”

Capabilities

RDi supports diagnostic pathways across population screening, pathology, clinical trials, retail and pharmacy testing, occupational health, health insurance, wellness and genetics, and direct-to-consumer services. Its capabilities include:

  • Custom diagnostic and specimen-collection kit design
  • Automated assembly, packaging and quality-controlled kitting
  • Direct-to-patient and bulk fulfillment
  • Sample-return and reverse-logistics management
  • Laboratory and diagnostic-partner integration
  • Digital ordering, activation, guidance, reminders and tracking
  • Secure results and onward-care pathways
  • White-label infrastructure for laboratories and healthcare brands
  • Operational data and real-time pathway visibility

The company’s digital technology, including its +CURA pathway platform, can support patients from the point a test is ordered through kit activation, sample collection, return, laboratory processing and access to results. This allows partners to create a more connected experience while retaining their own brand, clinical model and laboratory relationships.

RDi’s expansion into the United States follows its experience supporting complex, high-volume diagnostic and screening services in the United Kingdom and international markets. These have included national-scale screening pathways, pathology programs, at-home testing and customized specimen-collection solutions.

Over many years, we have invested in the automation, processes and technology required to make complex diagnostic pathways easier to operate and easier to scale. RDi USA allows us to bring those capabilities closer to American customers, while designing the operation specifically around the needs of the U.S. diagnostics market.

Chris Tagg, Chief Strategy Officer, RDi

Visitors to ADLM 2026 can meet the RDi USA leadership team and explore its diagnostic kitting and pathway capabilities at Booth 4454 in the Anaheim Convention Center from July 28-30, 2026.
