This week, RDi took its next major step as a business. At ADLM 2026, the world’s largest gathering of laboratory medicine and diagnostics professionals, RDi officially launched RDi USA and introduced our Health and Evolve platforms to the US market.

What made the moment particularly significant wasn’t simply the opening of our new business operation. It was the opportunity to showcase the technology, infrastructure and expertise that RDi has spent decades developing, and to demonstrate how those capabilities can help healthcare and diagnostic organizations overcome some of the US diagnostics industry’s most complex operational challenges.

Too many diagnostic programs are still held back by disconnected suppliers, manual processes, and limited visibility. RDi USA has been created to remove that friction for the US market.

Showcasing RDi USA at ADLM

ADLM provided the first opportunity to demonstrate the RDi proposition to US audiences.

Throughout the three-day event, Booth 4454 welcomed laboratories, healthcare providers, diagnostic manufacturers and industry partners looking for practical ways to scale testing programs while improving visibility and reducing operational complexity.

Visitors were able to see first-hand how RDi combines automated diagnostic kitting, fulfillment and logistics with connected digital pathways. Our production capabilities can deliver up to 200,000 kits per day, with every kit tracked, traced and personalized throughout the pathway.

Amanda Sparkes, Chief Clinical Officer, demonstrated +CURA on the stand, showing how real-time pathway visibility can connect patients, samples, laboratories and results within a single ecosystem.

Many of those discussions centered on a common challenge: how to connect everything that happens around the test itself, from kit fulfillment and sample logistics through to patient engagement, workflow management and result delivery.

From UK delivery to US deployment

The foundations of RDi USA have been built through years of supporting large-scale healthcare programs, diagnostic services and national screening initiatives, while continuing to invest in automation, logistics, healthcare services and digital technology.

Today, RDi USA brings together the physical and digital infrastructure needed to deliver modern diagnostic programs at scale, including:

  • Automated diagnostic kitting, fulfillment and logistics
  • Specimen collection and self-sampling solutions
  • Real-time pathway visibility through +CURA
  • Workflow automation and program management
  • Patient engagement and digital communications
  • Laboratory, LIS and EHR integrations
  • Digital clinical workflows

Together, these capabilities connect every stage of the process, from kit fulfillment and sample return through to laboratory integration and result delivery.

The scale behind that proposition is significant. To date, RDi has delivered more than 130 million self-collection kits, developed over 150 self-sample collection kit designs and processed more than one billion patient data records.

Looking ahead

The response throughout ADLM was overwhelmingly positive. And not just about the bright orange branded socks.

The stand remained busy throughout the exhibition, our launch video featured on the ADLM event platform, and we held conversations with organizations from across the diagnostics and healthcare sectors.

Most importantly, those conversations reinforced the opportunity ahead. Healthcare organizations are increasingly looking for partners that can bring together the physical, digital and operational elements of diagnostic delivery within a single model.

With teams, partnerships and operations already established across the United States, RDi USA now gives us the opportunity to bring the services, platforms and expertise developed in the UK to one of the world’s largest diagnostics markets.
